The Modern Minimalist Perch is a beautifully handcrafted stool made from locally sourced hardwoods in our small two person shop. Some of the features that make this unique include the joinery of the seat to the leg. Each leg is solidly attached to the seat with a slot mortise and tenon, visible from two sides. This is an incredibly strong joint that will hold up for generations of use. The seat itself is shaped by hand using a traditional chair-makers tool called a travisher.  The legs for each stool are also tapered for an elegantly slim foot profile. These stools sit as well as they look and are a perfect compliment to any room.
