Kentucky has a long tradition of coal mining that families in our region can trace back generations. Kentucky's coal miners were a hard working, family oriented bunch. Their honest work earned them enough to keep food on the table and provide the basics for their loved ones. This table is our tribute to that history. Designed to be sturdy and functional, while still having a simple rugged character and beauty that is unmistakably Kentucky. We painstakingly treat the leg frames, designed to mimic bracing inside many mines, with a charcoal finish, then the frames are clear coated. The top is red  oak, a strong, sturdy wood that can provide some of the most wonderful knots and character. all this adds up to a striking homage to our past, but lets us gather together to celebrate our future.
